Admission to the Register of Cultural Organisations
July 2014

The Friends of Chopin Australia were admitted to the Australian Register of Cultural Organisations by the Minister of Arts on 4 July 2014. Subsequently, on 11 July 2014 the Friends of Chopin Australia Incorporated was notified of its endorsement as a Deductible Gift Receipient status organisation by the Australian Tax Office, under Item 1 of the table in Section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (with the date of effect as 23 June 2014).

The public fund of the Friends of Chopin Australia Incorporated is the 'Friends of Chopin Australia Fund', as listed in 12.1.1 public fund on the register of cultural organisations, under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

Any donations of AUD $2 or more made into the Friends of Chopin Australia Fund are tax deductible under Subdivision 30-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
